For over two decades, the Wood River Women’s Foundation (WRWF) has been a powerful force for good in the Wood River Valley, bringing women together to make a meaningful impact through collaborative grantmaking and community engagement. Founded in 2005 by a group of visionary women, the Foundation has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering women and addressing the Valley’s most pressing needs.

About 150 people from throughout Idaho and elsewhere gathered Sept. 12 in Boise at the Treasure Valley Institute of Arts for Children to celebrate collective giving and to honor the 23rd anniversary of the Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation (IWCF).

After the voting is in and our grants are awarded, the WRWF’s Grantee Engagement Team (GET), a key function of the Grants Committee, engages with the new grantees to provide WRWF value in addition to our grant funding. The team is looking for volunteers to do this rewarding work. Below is a description of their main responsibilities. Much of the work can de done remotely, and periodic meetings will always have zoom options.
