2019 Sponsorship Opportunities

About Wood River Women’s Foundation:

Wood River Women’s Foundation (WRWF) is a strong and inclusive collective of informed women who together support a wide-range of nonprofit work in Blaine County. Despite the small size of our beloved Wood River Valley community, we are one of the largest women’s collective giving organizations in the United States. More than 350 women are members and active participants in our work, including both full-time and part-time residents.
Since our founding in 2004, WRWF has made grants totaling more than $2.4 million to local nonprofit providing support in Arts, Education, Environment, Health and Human Services. The most visible element of our work is our community grant-making, while the heart of our effort is to nurture and grow women philanthropic leaders.

Member demographics:

Our members are generous, smart, philanthropically-minded women who are committed to making our community stronger, more equitable and healthier for all of us. We represent a wide range in ages and span a spectrum from career professionals and community leaders to sophisticated philanthropists. We are active and retired corporate executives, directors of private family foundations and active community volunteers. We live throughout Blaine County and across the country. The variety of our backgrounds and perspectives come together to help us become more informed, strategic philanthropists and more confident, skilled community leaders.

Partnership Invitation:

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, WRWF funds its’ operations with contributions. While our financial support primarily comes from our membership, corporate sponsorships help us expand the reach of our programming into the broader community. In addition to our grant-making activities, WRWF produces an annual summer grant awards celebration to support philanthropy and honor our grantees, and an annual winter educational forum to further our mission of building philanthropic leaders. Both events include guests and, often, members of the public.

WRWF values connection to and collaboration with our greater community – the business sector as well as the nonprofit sector – and we welcome partnerships that introduce our members to companies and firms that share our values.
