On a break from her Montana college, Kathleen came to Sun Valley to work in the winter of 1974. Eight years later, she returned permanently as Hailey’s Postmaster, a role she held until retiring in 2009.
Kathleen and her husband Jerry raised two children who also loved living in the Wood River Valley. While working, and after she retired, Kathleen volunteered with a number of non-profit health care projects. She joined WRWF in 2011 and currently co-chairs the Membership Committee.
Kathleen spends her time making turns on the mountain, bike riding, hiking and greeting guests at CK’s Restaurant.
