David Rockefeller Fund director delivers keynote at Wood River Women’s Foundation Winter Forum
Everyone is, or can be, a philanthropist—that was the closing message of the keynote address at the 2018 Wood River Women’s Foundation Winter Forum, delivered by Lukas Haynes, executive director of the David Rockefeller Fund.
Haynes, 46, delivered the address to the organization of about 300 women Monday at the Community School, in Sun Valley. As snow piled up outside, Haynes showered the audience with wisdom and advice from more than 20 years of working with philanthropic organizations. His experience includes work as a strategy advisor for OXFAM UK in the Balkans and West Africa; director, trustee and board member positions at a slew of nonprofits and charitable foundations; and a stint as a speechwriter for former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
