As a precursor to our 2020 the PowerUP! The Spark That Ignites Change conference in Seattle, this webinar will share ideas on how grantmaking organization could consider building internal structures to become a more equitable and inclusive organizations. We will hear from the Washington Women’s Foundation and how they started the DEI committee and the steps that they have taken to transform their grant making to equity focused. In addition, Philanthropy Northwest, an incubator for collaboration for philanthropists in the Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming, will provide a “landscape overview” of how this work is showing up in different grantmaking organizations from family to community foundations.
