On August 21, approximately 100 people from the WRWF and community participated in our Education Forum on Charitable Giving for Maximum Benefit. Jenni Riley moderated the event, which included panelists Terri Bullock, WRWF President, Cate Cox, Family Therapist, Suzanne Hazlett, Wealth Management Advisor, and Sandra Clapp, Attorney. The wide-ranging discussion addressed the personal and psychological benefits of giving back to the community; various options for charitable giving; ways that employers can support their employees’ involvement in charitable giving, and prioritizing what and how to give. The newly published Giving Guide of the Wood River Valley was distributed to all attendees, with information about 67 deserving nonprofits in the Wood River Valley.
