The Wood River Women’s Foundation Education Committee is excited to announce that the speaker for our annual Winter Education Forum will be Teresa Younger, President and CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women. Founded in 1973 by a handful of women including Gloria Steinem and Marlo Thomas, the Ms. Foundation for Women is the first and oldest women’s foundation in the U.S. and is focused on building women’s collective power. Teresa’s talk,“Be The Kind of Woman . . .” will be inspirational and challenge us all to start each day recognizing the power and possibility it holds.
