our story

What began as a conversation between two women on a Sun Valley, Idaho chairlift in 2005 has transformed into a thriving, vital resource for women and nonprofit organizations of the Wood River Valley. Soon after that lift ride, founders Barbara Thrasher and Jo Murray held a gathering where they and several other interested women talked about how they could make a powerful difference in the community Together, they realized that by giving collectively their individual impact would be greatly amplified.
